PRACTICAL DISABILITY TRAINING

DISABILITY AWARENESS
DISABILITY INCLUSION
DISABILITY ETIQUETTE
ENABLING ENVIRONMENTS

With close to 1 in 5 Australians identifying as having a disability it has become increasingly important to be equipped to engage with people with disability in a positive and inclusive way.

Many people are uncertain and sometimes fearful about how to engage with people with disability without being offensive or discriminatory so they end up avoiding engaging with them at all.

It doesn’t have to be this way.

There  are simple ways we can all include people with disability in all aspects of society and Enable Development have created interactive and practical workshops to equip you with the confidence and skills to do so.

All of Enable Development’s facilitators have lived experience of disability which means that the training is coming from real life not just theory and this gives you the opportunity to ask any questions you may not have felt comfortable in asking before.  Nothing is off limits in these workshops.
