Assistive Devices in ACT

Enable Development in conjunction with Australian National University (ANU) have been awarded an Innovation Grant by Disability ACT to tackle the barriers to assistive devices for people with disability.  To read the brief for this project please click here.

Enable Development address the challenges of disability in our global community by bringing together passionate professionals with lived experiences to deliver programs and products using a peer-to-peer methodology.

A collaborative approach is needed break down the barriers to assistive devices and to begin this process we are hosting a Stakeholder Forum in Canberra:

Monday 21st October 2:00pm-4:30pm

Entrance 29 – 17 Childers Street, Australian National University, Canberra ACT.

Opposite the Street Theatre.

Places are limited to 30 participants so we ask that you send a maximum of 2 representatives to the Forum.

There will be coffee on arrival provided by a nearby cafe so please indicate your coffee (or tea/hot chocolate) preferences with your RSVP.

Please RSVP to by Thursday 17th October including any accessibility and dietary requirements for afternoon tea.
